Sony 稍早正式釋出邀請函，透露將在 2016 年 9 月 1 日，德國柏林舉辦的 IFA 2016 消費電子展上發表新品。

這場活動於德國柏林當地時間 9 月 1 日下午1點開始，從邀請函圖片可以看出，預計電視、VR、耳機、智慧型手機、相機、音樂播放器等新品都會亮相。

基本上會確定推出的，就是暫時命名為 Sony Xperia XR 的智慧型手機；根據我們掌握的資訊顯示，該手機配備的是 5.2 吋面板，搭配 Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 處理器、3GB RAM，機身採用的是全金屬材質。

這次 Sony Mobile 應該會針對主打的「Intelligence」進行強化，如何搭配周邊產品，在消費者最需要的時候帶來最重要的協助，是值得關注的重點。

至於支援 4K 解析度的遊戲機 PlayStation 4 Neo，則可能不會在 IFA 2016 的活動中亮相，而是於美國紐約舉辦的 PlayStation Theater 獨立發表會登場。
